Life Size Dollhouse

I realize that I am behind the times with this post, but I couldn't leave it out. The life size doll house by artist Heather Benning is intriguing. The intent was to show the passing of time. The contrast between the old and new is beautiful. What appears to be new (the interior) is actually old. The interior was restored to look just as it was when it was abandoned in the 1960's. The north wall was covered in plexiglass adding to the doll house affect. I had no idea you could even get plexiglass in sheets that large!
