Where the Wild Things Are

Recently Booooooom held a Wild Things' Fort contest. Unfortunately the contest is over, but there are tons of inspirational pictures. It was almost impossible to select just a few to share, but I managed to narrow it down to three tents.

These images motivated me to build a tent with my son. I will reluctantly admit that I was a bit intimidated by these beautifully constructed spaces. Slowly I let go of perfectionism, drug the kitchen chairs into the living room and draped them with the biggest sheet I could find. My two year old's eyes twinkled with excitement. He muttered, "I get my stuff," as he frantically began to fill it with his treasures. What a great memory!
