Magic of Mushrooms

There was a time in my life when I probably wouldn't have even considered buying a wooden mushroom, but wow these are beautiful! The mushrooms are truly works of art, and could easily turn any common garden or forest into a magical place. Planting one of these near your playhouse is a great way to attract mystical creatures and create a whimsical atmosphere.

John Cole carves the mushrooms with a chainsaw from durable Atlantic and Red Cedar wood. Then he hand carves the details and burns the wood to create the gills. To see more of his work check out his site.
