Lilly Bean Play Food

Honestly, when I first heard about felt play food I was not at all interested to learn more, but then I listened to an interview with Hilary Seabolt on Crafsanity. Hillary has turned her craft into a full blown business. In 2004 she began what is now known as Lilly Bean Market where you can stock your kitchen with handcrafted play food. If your feeling crafty, you can even buy kits on her site and do it yourself.

Felt play food is not just pretty to look at. It can be used as a learning tool to teach anything from counting to colors. And best of all, if you step on a carrot it doesn't hurt!
