Greer Honeywill

I was actually looking at Greer Honeywill's Embroidered House (next post) when I came across another of her works. The sculpture is similar in many ways to Tom Ngo's sketches. Both are skillfully executed, and at the same time playful in nature. Both also incorporate a bicycle adding to the Whimsy. I'll have to look deeper into the theory behind these works of art, but for now I'll just enjoy the images.

Modeling is another way to explore ideas, and can be a fun activity to do with your children. Try gathering up some odds and ends around the house (you can use almost anything), and construct your dream house. Remember, anything goes. The more abstract, the more fun!
