Playhouse Type: Cardboard Box

Cardboard box playhouses have been around forever, but are becoming more and more popular as an eco friendly choice. Appliance boxes can easily be re purposed as a playhouse, but if you are not feeling crafty (or don't have a large box on hand) you can simply purchase one. Personally, I'd go for the cheap or free box. Your child will not care if it has a flat or pitched roof.

Cardboard boxes are great not only to play in, but also to decorate. Paint them and glue stuff on them. Just have fun! Don't be intimidated. It doesn't have to look perfect as long as you and your child enjoy the process.
