Woven Tepee

The more I research woven architecture, the more I find. This great example of a woven tepee by artist, Julia Mitchell is roomy enough for a tea party. An adult, if allowed, could even join in the fun. This structure provieds a sence of enclosure while still alowing in plenty of light in. You can even begin to see a pattern emerging from the woven willows. At first glance these willow creations seem primitave, but if you look deeper you can see a craft that has evolved over hundreds (or more) years.
