Playhouse Style: Petite Painted Ladies

Painted Lady is a term that refers to the elaborately detailed Victorian houses. Technically Victorian is not a style but a period in history (1840-1900). What most people consider to be Victorian actually encompasses several styles. Petite Painted Ladies are characterized by their towers, turrets, wrap around porches, and intricate detail.

The playhouse above is an example of a petite painted lady from Posh Tots.
