Fancy Outhouse

I found this amazing outhouse re-do while browsing through Shed Style. The siding on the outhouse is what caught my attention. Suzanne St. Pierre and her husband Scotty Thompson covered the top portion of the exterior walls with flattened paint can lids creating a fish scale look. Using reclaimed materials is not only good for the environment, but also adds character in a way that new materials don't. The fearless pink trim boldly contrasts the ageing tin lids. I could also see those flower boxes on a playhouse. Details like these are what turn a standard playhouse (or outhouse) into a unique place that you can call your own.
